FALL QUARTER CLASSES

LADY'S BIBLE STUDY

God desires each of his children to follow his call. But sometimes the battles we fight for God’s kingdom defy our expectations, leading us to trust him more deeply. A faithful warrior for Christ will choose obedience over personal glory, humility instead of pride, and truth spoken with grace.
In this five-sessions series with Bianca Juárez Olthoff, explore the story of Deborah, Barak, and Jael and discover what being a warrior for God looks like.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY

Sometimes what we believe about the Christian life comes from a single but prominent point of view—an older Christian we look up to, a preacher, or a parent. But is there only one way of living the life of a Jesus follower?
The Christian life—even one centered on grace—can still feel like a long list of dos and don’ts. But what if there’s more (and less) to our faith than we typically believe? In this series based on his book A Contrarian's Guide to Knowing God, pastor Larry Osborne tackles popular assumptions about Christian living that create stress and failure rather than growth and joy.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER

Prayer is one of the most important things a Christian can do. It is a time they are communicating with God and it should be taken very seriously. While there is deep theological meaning in prayer, it doesn’t have to be something that is complicated and difficult. It’s something anyone can do anywhere at any time about anything.  Join us as we take a journey into the heart of praying and see how God unlocks some great and wonderful things in your life.

 YOU CAN FIND JOY

When painful or frustrating circumstances invade your life, lots of questions come too. Why does life so often seem unfair? Why doesn't our all-powerful God stop the injustice and suffering-not just for you but for all His children? Is there some purpose to our pain?
Join in on this Bible Study meeting on Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm in the Green Room at New Season Church.
